Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Recar customer and agency applications ("the app"). By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be of legal age to enter into a rental contract under the law of the Republic of Iraq, hold a valid driver's license, and provide accurate identity documents. Agencies are responsible for their own licensing and insurance posture.
Account + sign-in
Authentication is via phone number and SMS one-time code. You are responsible for the security of the phone number associated with your account. Do not share your account with another person.
Reservations
A reservation request you submit is an offer to rent under the terms displayed at the time you submit. The agency may accept, reject, or request modifications. Pricing, deposit, and delivery fee shown at the time of request are binding on acceptance.
Documents + verification
You agree that the identity documents you upload are genuine, current, and belong to you. The agency and Recar operators may verify them and may decline a reservation if verification fails.
Cancellation
You may cancel a reservation request before the agency confirms it. Once confirmed, cancellation policy is between you and the agency; please contact the agency directly.
Prohibited use
You may not use the app to (a) impersonate another person, (b) submit forged documents, (c) attempt to circumvent access controls, (d) abuse the support channels, or (e) violate applicable law.
Disclaimer + liability
The app is provided "as is". Recar is a marketplace platform; the agency is responsible for the condition of the vehicle, the rental contract, and any dispute arising from the rental. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recar disclaims warranties and limits liability to the amount of fees paid to Recar in the prior three months.
Changes
We may revise these Terms; the current version is published here. If the change is material we will surface it in the app at sign-in.
